September 2017 - First Offense Dismissed

The police originally stopped my client after receiving a call from a gas station attendant reported to the police that my client was acting oddly. After having my client perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the police arrested my client for OUI-Drugs and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Maximum Penalty:

Imprisonment for not more than 2 1/2 years, or not less than $500, or both, plus $50 Victims of Drunk Driving Assessment, $250 Head Injury Assessment, and license revoked for 1 year.

I filed a motion to suppress and motion to exclude which successfully resulted in having the entire case dismissed. My client was able to keep his license and did not have to pay any fines or fees. He was ecstatic!
