Palmer District Court presiding First Justice is Michael E. Mulcahy. Arraignments, pretrial conferences, motion hearings, violation of probation hearings, are heard throughout the week. Each month the court designates a week to hear jury trials. During that week the Court usually has a second judge to hear the jury trials. There are two Courtrooms in the Palmer District Court. The larger courtroom is on the main floor.

The Clerk-Magistrate is Brian M. St. Onge. He and his staff preside over all probable cause/show cause hearings. The show cause hearings are heard throughout the week.

The Hampden County district attorney also has an office on the first floor of the Palmer District Court. There is usually two assistant district attorney assigned to the Palmer District Court and victim witness advocate.

The Chief Probation Officer, Melvin A. Arroyo is also located on the main floor and the staffed by over five different probation officers.
